Field CTO (Customer-Facing)
Location: Silicon Valley / Remote, U.S.
Reports To: CEO / GTM Leadership
Intro
TrustLogix solves one of the toughest problems in the enterprise: the conflict over data between business leaders, security teams, and IT. Our patented platform unifies controls and highlights the data that truly matters — giving executives clarity, speed, and confidence in their decisions.
The Role
We are seeking a Field CTO: A unique blend of strategic advisor, evangelist, and hands-on solution architect. This role is customer-facing and critical in helping our prospects and partners understand, adopt, and scale TrustLogix.
The Field CTO will:
- Act as a trusted advisor to CISOs, CDOs, CIOs, and data leaders
- Own the technical narrative: explain how TrustLogix solves the hardest challenges in securing, governing, and enabling enterprise data
- Step in as SE or Solution Architect when needed: run technical deep-dives, architecture sessions, and proof-of-concepts
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Alliances to ensure customer success
- Represent TrustLogix externally at industry events, conferences, and partner summits
This is a player-coach, high-energy role where you’ll wear multiple hats, help shape the company’s GTM playbooks, and roll up your sleeves to win deals.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with enterprise customers and partners as the senior technical leader in the field
- Lead executive-level conversations on data security, privacy, and compliance trends — translating them into TrustLogix’s differentiated approach
- Deliver demos, workshops, and solution designs; guide customers through pilots and proof-of-value
- Provide technical leadership in deals: architecture validation, RFP responses, integration strategies
- Partner with Snowflake, Databricks, and GSIs to co-sell, build joint solutions, and deliver customer value
- Capture field feedback to influence Product Management and Engineering priorities
- Serve as a public evangelist: represent TrustLogix in webinars, conferences, and analyst briefings
Qualifications
- 12+ years in enterprise software, security, or data infrastructure roles
- Deep expertise in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery), and enterprise apps (SAP, Salesforce)
- Proven ability to engage C-level executives (CISO, CDO, CIO, CFO) with credibility
- Prior experience as field CTO, solution architect, principal SE, or technical evangelist in a high-growth SaaS company
- Startup DNA: scrappy, resourceful, thrives with minimal process, wears multiple hats
- Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and whiteboarding skills
- High-energy contributor motivated by building the next great company
- Experience at one of the leading players in the data security, governance, or infrastructure space is highly valued but not required (e.g., Cyera, Immuta, BigID, Satori, Privacera, Collibra, Alation, Atlan, Symmetry Systems, Dig Security, Venafi/CyberArk)
Our Culture
At TrustLogix, we're building a culture around a few core principles:
- Humble Intelligence: We hire smart people who are also humble. We believe the best ideas come from collaboration, not ego. We challenge each other respectfully and learn from every experience.
- Grit and Ambition: We are a "dream team" of doers. We thrive on challenges and have the resilience to tackle the tough problems that others won't. We're building something big, and we have the determination to see it through.
- Client and Partner Obsession: Our success is tied directly to the success of our clients and partners. We listen to their needs, anticipate their challenges, and work tirelessly to earn their trust every day.
- Empowerment: We expect and trust our team to take ownership and lead with autonomy. We provide the support you need to do your best work, empowering you to innovate and make a real impact.
- Execution with Integrity: We move with urgency, discipline, and accountability. We do the right thing even when it’s the harder path, because trust is built on consistency between words and actions.
- Trust: The foundation of everything we do. We trust our colleagues, our leaders, and our teams — and we earn the trust of clients and partners by listening first, delivering consistently, and acting with integrity.
Together, these principles define how we work, how we treat each other, and how we show up for our clients and partners. We’re not just building a product — we’re building a company we’re proud to call our own.
About TrustLogix
Every CEO must make the right calls to keep their company competitive. Competitors are moving fast, AI is raising the stakes, and survival depends on making smarter decisions sooner.
But here’s the problem: the CEO’s own leadership team is in conflict over data:
- Consumers — CDOs and business leaders who demand access so they can generate insights and keep the company ahead
- Enforcers — CISOs and security teams who lock things down with roadblocks and controls, held accountable for breaches, fines, and compliance failures
- Providers — CIOs and CTOs who are stuck in the middle, writing endless scripts and custom integrations that can’t keep pace with demand
The result? The business slows down. Decisions stall. Competitors pull ahead.
“Data is everywhere” has become the most unhelpful truism in technology. The real question for CEOs, CFOs, and CISOs is: which data is worth securing and enabling, and which can be ignored?
TrustLogix provides that clarity. Our patented Trust Logix Engine unifies and enforces policies across every data system, then delivers a heatmap of what matters most: showing which data is critical, who is using it, and where the risks lie.
CISOs, CIOs, and CFOs can focus resources on protecting and enabling what drives the business, instead of wasting time and money locking down everything indiscriminately.
With deep partnerships with Snowflake, Databricks, and GSIs, TrustLogix helps the world’s most demanding enterprises stay competitive in an era where speed, trust, and data-driven leadership decide who wins.
We are not just building another tool. We are building the next great company — one that turns conflict into clarity and enables leaders to lead.
